Final assignment for Sam Nielson’s class over at Schoolism! I kinda went nuts with this one and changed quite a bit to suit my needs, but what the hell- when you want to paint the Southwest, you paint the goddamn Southwest.

Colin and I are taking Sam Nielson’s Advanced Lighting course over on Schoolism, and it is awesome, and GOOD GOD I’m actually happy enough with my most recent assignment to post it.
Sam does the initial loose linework for each assignment, so credit where credit is due for general mountain/cloud placement. :)
